Keith Halley Obituary — Death: LVC Mourns a Much Loved Comrade

Keith Halley Obituary: Keith Halley has died, leaving members of the LVC community and fellow veterans deeply saddened by the loss of a respected and much loved comrade.

It is with great sadness that LVC shared news of Keith’s passing, describing him as a regular presence at the centre since early 2022. Over the past several years, he became a familiar and cherished figure, particularly at the older veterans and families’ weekly event, where his companionship and camaraderie meant so much to so many.

Keith was remembered as a devoted supporter of the veterans’ community — someone who valued fellowship, shared stories generously and offered friendship with sincerity and warmth. His presence at gatherings brought comfort and connection, strengthening the bonds among those who served and their families.

In honoring his memory, Keith’s family has shared details of his funeral arrangements and warmly invited all who knew him to attend.

A service will be held at Seafield Crematorium on Monday, 23rd February at 12:00hrs. Those wishing to pay tribute are welcome to wear medals or uniform in his honor.

Following the service, a memorial lunch and refreshments will take place at The Royal Scots Club at 13:00hrs, where friends, comrades and family members can gather to remember Keith, share stories and celebrate his life. All are welcome to attend and pay their respects.

Keith Halley’s passing leaves a void within the veterans’ community, but his memory will endure in the friendships he forged and the camaraderie he cherished.
